Lo más parecido que conozco es "Mundos en el abismo" de Redal y Aguilera (excelente, por cierto) donde había
[SPOILER] seis planetas iguales a la tierra situados en un hexágono alrededor del Sol [/SPOILER]
En "Mundo anillo" de Larry Niven sale la famosa Roseta de Klemperer, formada por cinco planetas en un pentágono regular girando alrededor de su centro de gravedad común. En esta página hay unas interesantes simulaciones de esa y otras formaciones parecidas
