Por diversas afecciones tópicas de gente de mi familia (nada importante, pero persistentes) he comprobado que a veces, al iniciar un nuevo tratamiento la cosa mejora ostensiblemente. En cambio, pasados unos días o semanas, deja de surtir tanto efecto. Incluso la situación puede llegar a quedar como antes.

¿A qué se debe ese «acostumbramiento»? ¿Hay alguna explicación bioquímica o es meramente psicológica o conductual? Con el tiempo el seguimiento del tratamiento se vuelve a veces más laxo.
