Bien, ya sé que el título del hilo es una barbaridad 8) , pero tenía que ponerlo.
El día 1 de diciembre supongo que ya sabréis qué día fue. Pues bien, vino a clase una mujer a hablarnos sobre el SIDA y el VIH y toda esa historia que ya nos han contado ahora, en total, cuatro veces, una por año desde que empezaron.
Sólo que este año hicieron un añadido:
"Si alguien infectado con el virus del VIH deja un charco de sangre o usa una jeringuilla, 'el virus muere' al cabo de un rato por estar a temperatura ambiente".

Tengo claro que un virus no está vivo, de verdad, no me saquéis tarjetas rojas :) . La duda está en ¿por qué dejaría de infectarnos al cabo de un rato?

Más que por la temperatura será por estar fuera del cuerpo ¿no? La temperatura fuera puede ser tranquilamente la mismo que en el interior y ahí no se mueren (por desgracia).

Los virus sí que estan vivos ¿no? Son los viriones que no lo están. Hablo de oidas que yo de esto no entiendo. :oops:

Recuerdo el revuelo que se montó cuando se soltó la idea de que los mosquitos podían infectar de SIDA o una persona si antes habían picado a un seropositivo.
Es realmente curioso que un virus tan "sensible" lleve tan de cabeza a los investigadores.

Hara una cuantas semanas o un mes echaron en la 2 un documental sobre el virus del sida. Hablaban de los intentos de lograr una vacuna efectiva contra el sida y sobre dos opiniones que habian surgido al respecto, una a favor de entender más a fondo el sistema inmune antes de intentar elaborar una vacuna, y la otra que defendia que no es necesario comprender el sistema inmune para poder lograrla. El caso es que hablaron de cosas interesantes como una vacuna contra el sida en monos adultos y el hecho de que las prostitutas de Nairobi, aún siendo un grupo de riesgo y en contacto con el virus, no llegaban a contraer la enfermedad.

Tambien he visto comentar en alguna parte que existe una "vacuna" contra el sida que tiene exito durante los primeros momentos de la infeccion y que se usa cuando personal de hospitales o laboratorios entran en contacto accidentalmente con sangre infectada. Espero que alguien me pueda decir cuanto hay de cierto en eso :D
