Wassily Leontief, el ordenador era Mark II, el avance es el modelado matemático y lo hizo en 1949. EDITO para aclarar. Consiguió un nobel de economía en 1973. "Leontief used the primitive computer systems available at the time at Harvard to model data provided by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to divide the U.S. economy into 500 sectors. Leontief modeled each sector with a linear equation based on the data and used the computer, the Harvard Mark II, to solve the system, one of the first significant uses of computers for mathematical modeling."

¡¡QUESITO PARA EZPERUN!! En efecto Wassily Leontief, que usó el Mark II para resolver 42 ecuaciones con 42 incógnitas en 1949 era la respuesta correcta. En 1973 ganó el Premio Nobel de Economía por "el desarrollo del método input-output y su aplicación a los más importantes problemas económicos". Enhorabuena Ezperun.
