Discusión at work!.

Amos a ver ¿cuál es el sentido de sacar el sistema de satélites de posicionamiento Galileo?


Tengo entendido algo sobre que el programa Galileo es para no pagar a los yankis de GPS ¿Es cierto que se les paga?¿cómo y quién les paga?

Yo digo que a pesar de lo que pretendan hacernos creer, los aparatos que ahora pillan señal del sistema americano, no pillarán correctamente ambos sistemas (a no ser que sueltes pasta y compres alguna actualización de firmware o similar)

Respecto a la forma de pago es muy sencillo, parte del precio de un receptor va al propietario de la red, en este caso el ejército americano. [MODO IDA DE OLLA] Una de las causas de que ahora haya GPS en todos los lados es que los americanos han visto que en cuanto salga Galileo no se van a jalar una rosca, y prefieren bajar el precio de las "licencias" para inundar el mercado.
Galileo será gratis para uso personal, con un margen de error de varios metros.
Gran parte del negocio de GPS y Galileo será los sistemas críticos, que son los que llevan aviones , barcos... que esos son más precisos, pero hay que pagar más.
