A mi también me pasa, aunque desde hace unos días llevo bifocales, pero porque en algún momento veía doble de cerca, cosa que es bastante incomoda. Puede ser por un montón de cosas, pero la primera que se me ocurre es la capacidad de acomodación. Al ser miope cuando llevas gafas y miras de cerca necesitas mayor cantidad de acomodación que sin ellas. Para ver lo que es la acomodación, página de ocularis.

una cosa, los gatos no verán bien de cerca, pero el olfato y los bigotes suelen ayudarle. Por cierto, es una obviedad, pero soy humano... pero miope (mas o menos entre 3 y 4 dioptrias)
